Mark has led operations, customer experience, and continuous improvement teams for leading companies — including General Electric and Target — and sharpened his consulting acumen while serving private equity clients at a premier Wall St. consulting firm. For the last decade he has focused on helping small and mid-sized companies scale, operate, and serve their customers effectively.

Mark earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Minnesota and carries advanced certifications in Six Sigma (Quality Leader, Master Black Belt) and executive leadership coaching and development. The Corporate Executive Board (CEB, now Gartner) has twice featured Mark’s work as best practices, and he is also an acknowledged thought partner to the CEB’s signature book on customer experience The Effortless Experience.
