Gary is a business-focused IT leader with more than thirty years of experience aligning people, process, and technology to yield competitive advantage. Experienced in the “Business of IT,” he’s known for his ability to move fluidly between business strategy and IT execution. Gary brings a lean-process focus and broad industry and cross-functional experience to his clients. This enables him to identify solutions that are both creative and pragmatic. Gary’s industry experience includes healthcare, business services, manufacturing, transportation, and the public sector.
Prior to founding his consulting firm, Gary was VP of IT Business Solutions at OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions where he created and led a $54 million IT Business Relationship and Portfolio Management organization. Prior to Optum, Gary held roles at Deloitte Consulting, Ceridian Corporation, and Russell Reynolds Associates.
Gary received an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business as well as a BA in Economics from Indiana. He is a Lean Six Sigma practitioner, and a Certified ScrumMaster®. Gary has served on the Board of Trustees of the Washburn Center for Children, and he currently volunteers at Creekside Commons for the Beacon Housing Collaborative.
